LINDSEY HERNANDEZ

“Every individual holds the potential for growth and healing. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful goals.”

Lindsey Hernandez is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over five years of experience supporting individuals, families, and students in diverse settings. She earned her Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and is certified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Lindsey believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. She prioritizes building trust and connection with her clients, fostering a non-judgmental space where they feel heard, understood, and valued. Lindsey specializes in working with children, teens, and adults struggling with trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, anxiety, depression, addictions, and relationship conflict.

Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Lindsey utilizes this evidence-based therapy to help individuals process trauma and emotional challenges. By combining EMDR with techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered counseling, she tailors her approach to empower clients to overcome obstacles, achieve their goals, and build fulfilling lives.

In addition to her private practice work, Lindsey has provided mental health services in schools, offering therapy to K-12 students and their families. She also has extensive experience in crisis intervention, group therapy, and creating treatment plans that guide clients toward personal growth and resilience.

Lindsey offers flexible scheduling to accommodate busy lives and is available for sessions on evenings and weekends.

When not working, Lindsey enjoys hiking, exploring local art scenes, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

“Therapy is a collaborative journey, and I’m here to support you in connecting with your inner strengths and achieving the life you envision.”
