DEBRA FULTON

Debra Fulton is a skilled therapist with 15 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges. She specializes in treating depression, mood disorders such as Bipolar Disorder, anxiety disorders including PTSD and OCD, as well as relationship, parenting, and family issues.

A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Debra combines her academic foundation with extensive hands-on experience to provide compassionate and effective care. She is trained in Family Systems Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Family Systems Therapy emphasizes improving dynamics within family relationships, fostering healthier communication and connection. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based approach, helps clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. By exploring the connection between thoughts, emotions, and actions, CBT empowers clients to develop healthier coping strategies and achieve meaningful, lasting change.

Earlier in her career, Debra served as a middle school counselor, working closely with children and their families to navigate the complexities of junior high. This role provided her with valuable insight into the developmental, social, and emotional challenges young people face, as well as the importance of strong family support systems.

Debra creates a compassionate and supportive therapeutic environment tailored to each client’s needs. She believes in fostering resilience, enhancing self-awareness, and equipping clients with practical tools to achieve their goals. Whether working with individuals or families, Debra takes a collaborative approach to promote growth and healing.

When she’s not working with clients, Debra enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and sitting down to read a good book. She values balance and self-care, principles she encourages her clients to embrace in their own lives.
