JACKIE TELLEZ

Jacqueline “Jackie” Tellez, MS, LPC, NCC

Therapist in Texas Specializing in Anxiety, Trauma, Life Transitions, and Women’s Mental Health

Hello! I’m Jacqueline “Jackie” Tellez, MS, LPC, NCC, a National Certified Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitative Services from the University of Texas–Pan American and my Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.

As a therapist in Texas, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and relationship challenges. I provide individualized support designed to help you better understand what you’re experiencing while building practical skills for moving forward.

I also specialize in women’s mental health, including the emotional challenges that can arise during major life transitions, pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, motherhood, and other stages of a woman’s life.

I have a special interest in supporting new mothers and single parents as they navigate the demands of parenting while also caring for their own emotional well-being. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. My approach is warm, collaborative, supportive, and practical. I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to your individual needs so that our work together feels both meaningful and useful in your everyday life.

I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and accepted without judgment. Together, we’ll explore what’s keeping you stuck, identify your strengths, and develop coping strategies and practical tools that can help you feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I’m a wife and mom, so I understand firsthand the joys and challenges that can come with balancing family, work, relationships, and personal well-being. My own experiences have deepened my appreciation for self-care, connection, and asking for support when life feels overwhelming.

I was drawn to counseling because I believe everyone deserves a compassionate space to heal, grow, and discover their own resilience. It’s a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate difficult seasons and celebrate their progress.
